Ruth W. McBurney, 96 years old, born September 30, 1928 in Nehawka, NE, passed away March 28, 2025, in her home with family in Warrensburg, MO.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd E. McBurney, her daughter, Christine Y. LaFollette, 2 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by one brother, Virgil (and wife Donna) Waldo, her daughters Robin Adkins (husband Ken) and Diana Piedmonte (husband Mike). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.

Ruth loved riding her motorcycle and traveling over the road with her husband as an over-the-road truck driver. She loved to dress up and dance. She cherished time with her family.

Graveside services will be held with family and friends at a later date.
