Sandra Roe "Mickey" Miller, age 79, passed away Saturday, September 30 at Lee's Summit Medical Center.

Sandy was born in Memphis, Tennessee on January 17, 1944 to parents Floyd and Ruby Rucker. She was raised in Tennessee and graduated from Lexington High School in 1962.

Soon after graduation she married her first husband, Vernon Raines. Together they had three children: Mike, David, and John.

In 1985, after three years of courtship, Sandy married Larry Miller. The two remained married until her death.

Sandy died of natural causes. She is survived by her husband Larry; her sister Nina Scott; her children Mike, David, and John; her stepchildren Scott, Steve, and Michelle; her grandchildren Amanda and Matthew; and her step-grandchildren Elijah, Gabriel, Kathryn, Nathan, Aidan, Dillon, and Zane.

Friends and family will gather for a celebration of life at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 4 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg.
