Shari Marie Young (nèe Tittsworth) was reunited with her heavenly family on September 23, 2025. She was born on September 29th, 1961 in Kirksville, Missouri to Norman and Faye Phinney Tittsworth. Shari grew up in St Joseph and La Plata, Missouri. Shari is preceded in death by both Norman and Faye, her older sister, Sandra Tittsworth Carleton, and her favorite companion Tuffy.

Shari and former husband Brent Young had two children, Michelle L. Young of Warrensburg, MO and Brandon A. Young (Marie) of Chattanooga, TN.

Shari was most fondly known and beloved as Grammy, to grandchildren Alexis, Makayla, Anthony, Krysta Grace, Brenna, Bronson, Micah, and great-grandchildren Raisean and Ariya. Grammy was her favorite name; she devoted her life to loving her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. She is also survived by niece and nephew Phillip Parton (Jessi) and Nicole Lewis, along with great nieces and nephews, dearest friends Kathy and Michael Anderson, childhood best friend Ruth Lingerfelt, Nick and Niki Larkin and many others who loved her.

Shari was known for her hardworking nature, loyal friendships, overcoming any challenge, her dry sense of humor and her love for Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Shari enjoyed antiquing, as well as sewing, baking, reading, watching Chiefs games, and doing word searches and crossword puzzles.

A memorial service will be held at Northside Christian Church on Saturday, October 4th at 2:30 pm in Warrensburg, Missouri.
