Steven Tracy,
Jr.
Nov 5, 1982 — Jul 31, 2022
Jamestown
Steven Tracy, Jr., age 39, of Jamestown, Missouri passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022.
Steve was born on November 5, 1982 at Altus Air Force Base in Oklahoma, the son of Steven Tracy, Sr. and Christina (Blessant) Tracy.
Steve started his bull riding career as a young adult, riding in MRCA, URA, NFPB, and the PBR; it was one of his greatest passions in his life. He remained in the rodeo community as a judge after suffering an untimely injury, after which he helped many learn how to ride and shared his love for the sport.
He was always there for a high five, a hug, kind words, or the hard truth; whichever was needed at the time for encouragement. He always, always had a deep love for his family, both immediate and extended. He could be counted on to be the rock in tough times. He will be greatly missed as a friend, a father, a son, and a partner.
Steve is survived by his children Dylan Brandes, Autumn Gatewood, Lyrik Tracy, Savanna Tracy, Adrian Tracy, Elizabeth Tracy, Liam Tracy, and Abigail Tracy; his parents Steven and Christina Tracy, Sr.; his sisters Alicia Armstrong, Sierra Tracy, and Leora Tracy; his nieces and nephews Harley Armstrong, Amber Armstrong, Cori Armstrong, Eustace Armstrong, Riley Duensing, and Rogan Duensing; his fiancée Dannielle Pittson; his mother-in-law Annemarie Shultz Wylie; his father-in-law Steve Wylie; his brother-in-law Lucas Wylie; and his sister-in-law Hannah Wylie.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Heartland Church in Knob Noster, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5, 2022 at Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home in Warrensburg, Missouri.
