Terry Vandevelde passed away Saturday, August 1, 2026, in Concordia, Missouri.

Terry was born on September 29, 1974, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of Kenneth Vandevelde and Barbara (Poe) Vandevelde.

He is survived by his brothers, Kenneth Vandevelde (Lesa) of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Lenny Vandevelde (Melissa) of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Timothy Vandevelde (Shawna) of Kansas City, Missouri, and Mark Vandevelde (Lindsey Witte) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; his sisters, Ponnie Chapman (Jarrod) of Corsicana, Texas, Tonya Holmes (Raymond) of Cary, North Carolina, and Brandy Brown (Tony) of Higginsville, Missouri; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Barbara Vandevelde, and his brother, Michael Vandevelde.

It can truly be said that Terry loved life, loved his family, loved God, and loved Dr Pepper. His family is especially grateful for the compassionate love and exceptional care provided by the nurses at Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia, Missouri, who cared for him with kindness and dignity.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026, at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Terry's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
