Obituary

Terry was born in Kansas City, KS. He was the youngest of four children.

Terry graduated from Clinton High School. Terry worked in construction for most of his life. After moving to Montrose, MO, he worked at the elevator in town. He enjoyed working in his garde and flowers, often he would be canning products from his garden, which he shared with others. You could find Terry under a vehicle hood working on the engine. There wasn't an engine that he couldn't fix. Terry loved watching his niece and nephews grow up. They were his pride and joy.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Gladys Warnock and brothers, Merle Jr. (Buck) Warnock and Pat Warnock.

Terry is survived by his sister, Jeannie (Odes) Campbell; niece, Amy Espey; nephews, Jeff (Robin) Campbell, Jerry (Rebecca) Campbell, David (Nicole) Thurman, Levi (Samantha) Thurman, and Aaron Perkins. And many great-nephews and nieces.

Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 11:30 a.m., at the Short Sweet Tavern located in Montrose, MO.

Memorial donations can be made to Standing In The Gap Ministries in Warrensburg, Missouri, and may be left in care of the funeral home.

Thank you to Warrensburg Manor for making Terry's life fun and taking great care of him. He found a new passion for playing bingo. And thanks to the neighbors that checked in on Terry to make sure he was ok.
