Thelma Lee Robinson was born May 21, 1938 in Topeka, Kansas to Harry Stanley and Sarah Francis Dailey. She went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2021.

Thelma lived around the Kansas City area including smaller towns, such as Warrensburg, Bolckow, Savannah, Windsor, and Sedalia. She worked as a CNA from 1962 until 1989 when she retired.

In 1972 she married Richard A. Robinson who precedes her in death. Thelma was blessed with a large family. Surviving children are Lee (Alberta) Stanley, Chilhowee, MO; Brenda (Richard Young) Miller, Chilhowee, MO; Mark Paxton, Sedalia, MO; Susan (Michael) Little, Kansas City, MO; and Tina (Ken) Walker, Warrensburg, MO. Preceded in death by Rebecca Schmidt, Michael Bolton, and Diana Hayden.

Thelma was one of 13 children. Surviving siblings are Raymond Stanley, Kansas City, MO; Barbara Peek, Sedalia, MO; and Alice (George Sr.) Reed, Oak Grove, MO. She was preceded in death by James Stanley, Margaret Becker, Patricia Sloan, Larry Stanley, Ronnie Stanley, Donna Wright, Loretta Gregg, Harry Stanley Jr., and Betty Stanley, along with her step father George Burnett.

Thelma has 17 grandchildren (3 deceased), 20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a lot of nieces and nephews who loved and adored her.  So many friends to list them all, she never met a stranger.

Her hobbies included playing bingo, cards, Yahtzee, crafting, and crocheting. She had a love of music and sure enjoyed singing and dancing. She never refused a good cup of coffee, a trait she passed on to some of her children.

Celebration of life will be held at the Chilhowee Baptist Church 101 Pennsylvania Ave. Chilhowee, MO 64733 on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. with Reverend Justin Powell officiating.
